'Oh Music Where Art Thou' and 'Nimbus' navigation apps are in-ear. The sound moves from one ear to the other depending on the position of your head to the destination (for the Nimbus app read North and South).
I enjoyed moving the sound from ear to ear by turning on the spot. Interesting to find out that this doesn't fit my purposes, as it felt as though the sound was in my head rather than coming from the destination so the focus was inward and meditative rather than outward and alert to the location.
