9 days before the print

I have 16, 352 frames taken over 20 days, to be condensed into 6 or 8, 80 frame sequences. I must discover, in the footage, the cleanest passages though, under intense time pressure.

The work shapes during the edit; an improvisation with what I’ve got in my laptop.

I like best finding the route for the first time, playing with the navigation through from one point to another, the different ways of leading the eye from these steps to that door up ahead.

I want the edit to be playtime too.

I question why the figure is there.
She is there to show the space by the way she navigates it - as a change from first person framing - our avatar. She is not a layer in herself, or is she? No figure is more or less neutral. My actor comes as herself.
