Artist in the Park

I've been an unofficial Artist in the Park at Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park since November 2014. I've taught photo-animation workshops resulting in beautiful micro sequences made by participants. I've invited people to take me for a walk hearing some fantastic stories of their experiences of the park. I've worked with Bow Beasties and Grounded Ecotherapy to make some in documentary sequences about the effect of the place on the people who walk there. These sequences which were previewed at the Summer Fair. 

Shuffle!

Next up is Shuffle Festival where the sequences will be shown in situ for the first time. Find them in the woods and create your own hand-cranked augmented reality. And I'll be inviting people to be filmed walking through the park, each person taking a section of a route through the woods. This material will be made into a linked set of sequences forming a grand photo-animated relay - a moving portrait of the place and the people who use it.
